Hey Curvies! Recently, I’ve had the pleasure of receiving The Follicle Enhancer by Edge Naturale. This Enhancer is created for natural edges. So whether you’re regrowing your edges or needing a little something extra to help with damaged edges, this enhancer is supposed to be the product for my natural girls.
Personally, I have been in such a dire need for something like this edge enhancer. I’ve been blessed with a full and thick head of hair BUT these edges….. These edges, girl lol. I've always had extremely fragile edges. If the seasons changed, they broke off. If I wore a ponytail or a protective style, they broke off. IF THE WIND BLEW TOO HARD THEY WERE GONE ( ok yall get it lol) In the pictures that will be inserted below, you’ll see that I have a very clean bald spot on my right hand side of my hairline.*covers face because I'm exposing myself!! But anything for my babies, ok?!* On the left side, which is the first picture below, you'll notice more fullness but there's no doubt that these two place are the areas I struggle with the most. *Quick story time because I'm not about to let my edges go out like that lol. Let me tell yall where this spot came from lol. Long story short, I had these super cute knotless braids in my hair, that made your girl look like a snaaack. One day I'm minding my business and a spider crawls across my forehead!!! After a great effort to save a real one like myself from this spider, I lost a braid and a patch of hair that was attached lol Hence the clean spot in the front part of my hairline. So this whole event is like reason #242 Why I'm so excited to try Edge Naturale’s Follicle Enhancer.
The jar I received is a 2oz/59ml jar of the Follicle Enhancer. To get the best use of this product you need to apply once or twice daily to your thinning areas of the scalp. You simply apply with your fingertips and easily rub into your scalp. Before you use this product, your application area and scalp need to be clean and clear of oils.
This product is made from fresh ingredients. The ingredients include ( because every natural girl know this is the important part so i got you, sis):
Water, Carbomer, Stearic Acid, Petrolatum Glyceryl Stearate, Glycerin, Cetyl Alcohol, Mineral Oil, Peppermint Oil, Avocado Oil, Niactin, Castor Oil, Jojoba Oil, Coconut Milk Extract, Phenoxyethnol and Ethylhexylglycerin.
My plan is to use this product once daily and It’ll probably be at night after my skincare routine. I also plan to use and damp face cloth to clean my spot of application to ensure a clean space.
What I really love about this product is that it requires you putting more time into yourself. This promotes self care and improving yourself. Also it’s a ONE STEP SYSTEM. I honestly can say that makes me jump for joy. My night routine is pretty lengthy enough. The application process is simple and mess free. Also rubbing your scalp promotes blood flow which promotes a healthier scalp and hair ultimately. I know for myself, the potential boost of self confidence that could come from having full and thick edges means a lot.
